Summer Reading and Writing Programs for Children and Adults

Loyola University Maryland, School of Education, a non-profit organization, is proud to offer the Summer Reading and Writing Skills Program as a community service to families on campus and at 16 other locations. Since 2013, this program has helped students in our community build strong reading and writing skills and develop a deep love of books and reading. The program is designed and taught by the Institute of Reading Development, a nationwide leader in reading skills instruction.

The summer reading programs are available in Annapolis, Baltimore, Catonsville, Chevy Chase, College Park, Ellicott City, Frederick, Gaithersburg, Mitchellville, Odenton, Oxon Hill, Rockville, Sandy Spring, Towson, Upper Marlboro, Waldorf, Washington, and other locations throughout the area.
