Cohort Offerings
M.Ed. in Educational Leadership
This program is for educators who wish to become leaders at the school (principal/assistant principal) and/or district level (supervisor, director, assistant superintendent, and superintendent). This 39-credit program will focus on both the theory and practice of contemporary school leadership. The program includes a six-credit internship, through which students have the opportunity to apply experience and further develop their leadership abilities in a real-life education setting.

M.Ed. in Educational Technology
This program is for teachers who wish to expand their use of technology in their own classroom, as well as those wishing to become technology leaders on the school, district, and national levels. This 36-credit program requires an 18-credit technology core, a 3-credit research core, a 12-credit leadership core, and a 3-credit culminating internship.

M.Ed. in Literacy-Reading Specialist
This 30-credit program is designed for the certified teacher who wishes to be certified by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) as a Reading Specialist based on and aligned to the standards outlined by the International Literacy Association. In this program, you will be prepared to not only meet the needs of struggling literacy learners, but also to assume leadership positions within your school.

This 33-credit program is designed to help students understand the broader field of education, critically analyze it, and consider it as an instrument of positive change by studying social, cultural, philosophical, and historical issues in and about education within a rapidly changing global society.

Certificate in Teaching English Language Learners
This 15-credit fully online certificate is for anyone working with English language learning clients or students. You will develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for effective expertise in bilingual teaching, learning, and assessment.

Certificate in Administration and Supervision (Post-Master's certification)
This program is for an individual that has obtained a master's degree from an accredited institution and 27 months of satisfactory teaching performance or satisfactory performance as a specialist. This program provides eligibility for certification as an administrator I (assistant in administration, supervisor in instruction, or supervisor in central administration).
