Summer Study Abroad- 2022 Offerings
In addition to our semester, year-long, and study tour options, Loyola also offers a number of independent and faculty-led summer programs. There is a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA requirement for all summer programs.

*COVID-19 STATEMENT: These programs could be cancelled depending on how the Covid-19 pandemic will evolve in the coming weeks and months. A decision or update regarding possible cancellations will be announced in early February 2022. All program deposits will be refunded if Loyola has to cancel these programs due to Covid-19 concerns or low enrollment.

*NEW* PARIS, FRANCE (3 Credits) - Maymester

Montpellier, France (3 credits)
Dates: June 3 to June 27, 2022

Prague, Czech Republic (6 credits)

Balkans - Sarajevo, Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia (3 credits)

Courses: PS 300 or HS 300 (core) on conflict, peace, democratization, and development in the Balkans (3 credits) Also counts toward Global Studies Topic 2.

Requires 12 participants. All majors and class years may apply, including first-year students.

Rome, Italy (3 credits)

Cost: $ 3,850 (airfare not included), covers tuition, housing, 5 breakfasts and 4 dinners per week, local transportation, group tours and activities.
Requires 10 participants.
Prerequisites: IT 102 or 161 (for 103); 103 (for 104); 1 HS 100-level (for CL/HS 307)
Application deadline: First come first served until February 15, 2022, with non-refundable deposit of $750
Application Process
1) Attend an information session on your program or a meeting with your Program Director. Please see the full list of information sessions below.
2) Once step 1 (above) is completed, your Program Director will email the Office of International Programs with your name and Loyola ID number.
3) Submit your application electronically to the Office of International Programs using our online application portal before the deadlines indicated.
