Green Office Program
The Green Office Program is a certification program for offices on the Loyola University Maryland campus. Offices complete actions from a list of sustainability goals and earn certification badges and recognition. Administrative and academic departments are encouraged to participate.
Govanstowne Farmers’ Market
A weekly market during the summer months that is situated in the 5104 York Road parking lot. This market strives to bring food to local and/or underserved families.
Greyhounds Go Green Movement
A network of faculty, staff, and students that collaborate on various issues concerning sustainability on campus. You can track green events on social media.
St. Francis Feast and Learn
The St. Francis Feast and Learn is an annual sustainability round table teach in and local foods dinner hosted by the Environmental Action Club, Campus Ministry, and sustainability staff. Faculty, staff, and administrators are encouraged to lead interactive roundtable activities on sustainability topics within their academic or personal expertise to engage students in the interdisciplinary nature of the topic. The event is held in the first week of October each year. If you're interested in leading an interactive session, please email sustainability@loyola.edu.
