If you withdrew from the course prior to when the course’s
evaluations were to be administered, then you will not be able to
complete a course evaluation survey for that course.
If a course has fewer than 5 students enrolled, then no evaluation will
be administered. This is done as a measure to ensure student
confidentiality. However, if you would like to provide feedback directly
to your instructor (e.g., email, written note, discussion) or provide
your instructor with a letter of support that they could use for their
promotion and tenure, etc. that describes their teaching and your
resulting learning, then you are free to do that outside of this online
course evaluation system.
It is also possible that the evaluation is either not yet open or has
already closed. If you received an email reminder from OIR (survey@loyola.edu), then you can review the “start” and “end”
dates for each of the listed courses for which you had course
evaluations available – at the time the email was sent out.
Some courses are also excluded since the evaluation process is not
applicable to them, e.g. Psychology or School of Education courses (they will email their students directly); courses offered at other non-Loyola locations,
such as study abroad or study away; etc.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to OIR (survey@loyola.edu) if you think you are missing a course evaluation survey for one of
your courses.
