Description: The AFWA offers a variety of Undergraduate and Master's scholarships for women in finance and accounting. For Undergraduate/5-Year Degree Scholarships, the awards are presented to students who have completed their sophomore year of college (or 60 semester hours or the equivalent) by the time of the application deadline and are majoring in accounting or finance. Candidates must have a minimum cumulative college grade point average GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent. Scholarship candidates will be reviewed on leadership, character, communication skills, scholastic average, and financial need. Each year, a few outstanding scholars are selected from the Undergraduate and Master's scholarship applicants to receive the prestigious Paula Zanni Award. Although membership in AFWA is not required, an endorsement by a member or Chapter of AFWA may increase the chances of earning a scholarship.

Description: The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund Herbert Lehman Scholarship Program awards are $3,000 per year, over four years, for a total of $12,000 - provided funds are available. Scholars must remain in good academic standing and continue to meet the scholarship criteria in order to maintain eligibility. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior, a first-year student in an accredited four-year college, or a student transferring into an accredited four-year college, students beginning as a junior are not eligible.

Description: The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program offers competitive, prestigious scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. The program offers scholarship support, paid research training at the NIH during the summer, and paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited four-year undergraduate institution located in the U.S., undergraduate university 3.3 GPA or higher or be within the top 5% of your class, and have "exceptional financial need" as certified by the undergraduate institution financial aid office. Scholarships are awarded for one year, and can be renewed up to four years.

Description: The General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program is offered to eligible Air Force dependents. Grants are awarded to selected sons and daughters of Active Duty, Title 10 AGR/Reserve, Title 32 AGR performing full-time active duty, Retired, Retired Reserve and deceased Air Force members; spouses of Active Duty members and Title 10 AGR/Reservists; and surviving spouses of deceased personnel for their full-time undergraduate studies.
