Dr. Frank Golom joined the department in 2013. He assumed the role of Department Chair in the summer of 2019. Frank is responsible for the overall strategic vision and management of the department's 45 full- and part-time faculty, 500 undergraduate majors, and nearly 200 graduate students. He is currently in his second term as chair, and teaches courses in industrial/organizational psychology, research methods, and consulting theory and practice.

Dr. Jen Lowry joined the department in 1996. She has held numerous critical administrative roles at Loyola during her tenure, including Department Chair, Chair of the Faculty, and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs. In her role as Associate Department Chair, she provides support around the department's strategic planning processes and manages all per-course/adjunct affiliate faculty. She teaches courses in personality assessment, psychopathology, and introductory psychology.

Dr. Rachel Grover joined the department in 2002. This is her second stint as Director of the Undergraduate Program, having previously served in the role from 2014 to 2017. She is deeply committed to the education we provide our undergraduate students and their personal and professional development. She teaches courses in research methods and child psychology.

Dr. Emalee Quickel joined the department in 2016. She is a strong advocate for graduate clinical training and is completing her first term as Director of the Clinical Professional Counseling Program. She teaches courses in psychotherapy principles and practices, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

 Diana Betz

Dr. Diana Betz joined the department in 2016. A social psychologist by training, she is strongly committed to applying psychological research and theory to improve the experience of underrepresented students in psychology. She teaches courses in social psychology, research methods, and stereotyping and prejudice.

Ms. Traci Martino started with the department as Director of Program Operations in August of 2001. Over the years, she has worked closely with the department chair as well as the program directors to ensure the psychology programs run as smoothly as possible. She also serves as a liaison between the psychology department and other departments on campus. She has taught introductory psychology, and has served as an academic advisor to both undergraduate psychology students and masters students.
