Emerging Media

The Loyola Advantage

At all levels of study a Loyola education is marked by cura personalis—care for the whole person. This Jesuit philosophy challenges the way students view the world. It employs discovery, reflection, discernment, and a focus on ethics and commitment to social justice.

The Masters of Arts in Emerging Media brings the rich 500-year-old Jesuit educational tradition to the world of online learning. Through its online classes and short, intensive summer residencies, the program will prepare you to engage in the world of emerging media, train you to act ethically in the world, provide you with real-world experience, and give you the tools to more fully understand and build on that experience. Loyola’s commitment is to provide an educational experience online as rich as can be found in traditional settings, including personalized attention to the needs of each student.
