LMCF Mission Statement

The Loyola Microscopy Core Facility (LMCF) is a no-fee, collaborative establishment accessible to faculty and students at all small colleges and universities in Maryland. Recognizing the important role undergraduate institutions play in developing the next generation of scientists, our mission is to enhance the research productivity of faculty while providing their students with the opportunity to use cutting-edge technology in mentored research endeavors. Use of the facility, training, general protocols, and some basic reagents are provided to collaborators and their students in order to achieve this goal.
