- Class of 2021
- Majors Biology and Chemistry
Jade’s love for math and science began in grade school and influenced her academic path—and her decision to attend Loyola. “I chose Loyola because of the sense of community I felt as soon as I stepped on campus,” says Jade, who participates in Loyola’s Pre-Health Programs and is on the Pre-Medical Track. Jade plans to attend medical school after she graduates from Loyola and study to become either a pediatrician or anesthesiologist. Beyond the classroom, Jade works as a lab assistant in the biology lab. She volunteers in the Baltimore community at the Don Miller House and is involved with Soccer Without Borders and Relay For Life. Jade, who is also an Evergreen, says she hopes her fellow Greyhounds take advantage of all the resources available at Loyola. Her favorite thing about her experience is the family she’s gained through developing close friendships and relationships with faculty members.

What makes Loyola stand out among other schools is our sense of community. The community here is always working to improve, and Loyola does a great job at accommodating everyone’s needs.
