Dear Greyhound Parents and Families,

It is hard to believe that we have just passed the midpoint of the fall semester! During the first half of the semester, our campus community has celebrated many wonderful campus traditions, including Fall Welcome Weekend, Initium, and Family Weekend. It was good to see so many of you at Family Weekend, enjoying our unseasonably warm weather.

Mid-terms offer a natural opportunity for students to reflect on how the semester has gone so far, re-evaluate habits and practices, and make a commitment to seek out additional support, if needed. We want to highlight a few academic resources, including The Study and The Writing Center. Both of these resources provide a number of academic supports, including tutoring, for no additional cost.

We have also developed a quick reference guide to share common questions and help you refer your student to the right places.

At this time of year, please also encourage your student to visit Student Health and Education Services for a flu shot.

As always, the members of the division for student development are here to partner with you as we try to help your students succeed at Loyola.

Sincerely,

The Division for Student Development
