Scott Hamilton Adams serves the Loyola Community as the Assistant Director of Interfaith and Ecumenical Ministries. He holds two Masters Degrees in Theology; ThM from Duke University's School of Divinity, and an MA from St. Mary’s Seminary & Ecumenical Institute. He has also completed a course of study in Executive Coaching at the The University of Texas, and holds Bachelors Degree in Psychology from James Madison University. Prior to coming to Loyola, Scott served as the founding Senior Pastor of Ekklesia Community Ministries in Bel Air, Maryland, served as the director of a non-profit restorative justice program in Durham, NC and as an administrator for Maryland’s Health and Human Services agency. He has a wealth of experience in the areas of race and faith, restorative justice, trauma and crisis intervention, grief and bereavement. He writes extensively and lectures on various issues surrounding theological ethics and social justice. Scott is married to Tanya, and they have two children, Ray and Scotty.

|Director: Coordinates, supports, and supervises the Campus Ministry Team. Duties include staff meetings, supervision of professional staff members, meetings with Mission Committee, oversight of budget and annual staff evaluations.
Seán Bray serves as the Director of Campus Ministry. He was born and raised in the Seattle area. He is a product of Catholic education and a certified Lay Ecclesial Minister. He holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Carroll College in Helena, Montana and a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Seattle University. Seán has served as an elementary & middle school teacher in the Archdiocese of Seattle, youth minister, a Co-Director of Outdoor Ministries, a Campus Minister for Retreats, and Social Justice Minister at Seattle University. He believes deeply in the transformative nature of Jesuit Education and Ignatian Spirituality. Seán is passionate about creating inclusive space for dialogue, accompanying people in discernment, nurturing relationship between communities, building teams and helping people to explore their relationships with God, others and themselves. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors, biking, skiing, hiking and camping. He is married to Shannon and they have three children Larkin, Liam and Fíona.

|Assistant Director:Provides pastoral care and spiritual direction.Oversees Campus Ministry's Immersion programs, Mindful Meals, accompanies our delegation to ISN Teach-In for Justice, oversees CRS Ambassadors and co-mentors for In, Out and In between.
Elise Gower serves as the Loyola Community through social justice and interfaith ministries, first year programming, retreats, LGBTQ outreach and leadership development.She holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Marywood University and a Masters in Education from the University of Scranton. A native of Pennsylvania, she served as the International Service Program Coordinator and Campus Minister at the University of Scranton where she facilitated global immersion experiences, coordinated Christian Life Communities, and directed diverse retreats and programs. In her personal and professional life, Elise embraces the Jesuit ideals. She is passionate about providing diverse experiences of prayer, reflection and dialogue, promoting advocacy and action, engaging students in exploring the intersections of identity and accompanying each person on their own unique spiritual journey.In her free time, you’ll find Elise kayaking, traveling, reading a goodbook, and spending time with family and friends

|Wedding Coordinator:Oversees Alumni Chapel reservations for weddings, Pre-Cana marriage preparation and all marriage paperwork.
Kathleen serves as the Wedding Coordinator and facilitates Loyola’s Pre-Cana Conference. She has a B.S. in Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary Mathematics) from Loyola. While a student at Loyola, Kathleen interned as an Administrative Office Assistant in Campus Ministry and discovered her passion for both the ministry and organization involved in coordinating weddings. She also worked as a Sacristan for weddings at Loyola and loved the moment of sending the bride down the aisle. She is excited to return to the Loyola community and to assist in facilitating the sacrament of marriage for Loyola alumni. Her other previous work experience includes teaching and administrative roles in academic settings and consulting on higher education technology. In addition to her part-time position at Loyola, she currently works full-time as an analyst for the federal government.In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with family, and she is currently planning her own wedding for 2018
Ms. Hong-yu Li

Hong-yu Li was born and raised in China. She joined the Loyola Community in August 2009 serving with the Public Safety Department as a Communication/Public Safety Officer for four years. In 2013, Hong-yu joined ALANA Services where she worked as an Administrative Assistant, providing secretarial and clerical support to the Director of ALANA Services, her duties include smooth operation of the office and departmental budget management. Additionally, she was a supervisor to student employees and played a role in many major ALANA programs and initiatives. Hong-yu is grateful to join the Campus Ministry Team to deepen her faith in God, develop discernment techniques, and join the fight for justice. Outside of Loyola, Hong-yu enjoys going to and volunteering at church, spending time with family and friends, hiking, sightseeing, touring, and contemporary Christian music. Hong-yu enjoys working hard and playing smart!

|Associate Director:Oversees daily and weekly liturgies, major University liturgies and Evensong.Directs the Chapel Choir, leads Chapel Choir retreat, supervises Wedding Coordinator, and directs Lessons & Carols.
George Miller directs the worship life of the Loyola community. As founder of theLoyola Chapel Choir, he brings over 30 years experience as a musician and campus minister. He holds degrees in theology (Loyola, 76), voice and music education, and a M.A. in vocal pedagogy andconducting, as well as continuing education in liturgical studies. George has held national leadership positions with AJCU, NPM, and is currently a faculty member of Music Ministry Alive – a summer institute for young musicians in St. Paul, MN. A professional singer; he has performed with The Baltimore Choral Arts Society, and the Baltimore, Washington, and Annapolis Opera companies. His passions also include home renovation.George is currently completing a 3-year project on 1926 colonial-revival home in Kingsville, MD.
Rev. John Murray, S.J.

|University Chaplain:Provides pastoral care and spiritual direction.Supports the liturgical life of the University. Directs retreats including; Spiritual Exercises, A.M.D.G., Kairos, and Men's. Oversees St. Alphonsus Dinner Program, and the R.C.I.A. process.
Fr. Murray is a member of the New England Province of the Jesuits, where he has served in a variety of ministries over his 25 years as a priest. Prior to his arrival at Loyola in 2012, Fr. Murray was the Director of Eastern Point Retreat House in Gloucester, MA. Fr. Murray has training in counseling and in the ministry of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. He has worked at both the secondary education level, as Principal of Bishop Connolly High School; and at the higher education level at Boston College, as the internal Consultant for Ignatian Spirituality. Fr. Murray enjoys companioning with students, staff and faculty in searching through the spiritual gifts in their lives and in finding God in all things.
Rev. Thomas Roach, S.J.

|Associate Chaplain:Provides pastoral care and spiritual direction.Supports the liturgical life of the University. Oversees the Koinonia faith sharing communities and supports Pre-Cana and First Friday Masses.
Father Roach is a native of Baltimore, where he attended St. Bernardine’s School and Loyola Blakefield. After entering the Jesuits, Father studied German, philosophy and theology at St. Louis University and Woodstock College. He has spent most of his life in high school teaching and administration, first at St. Joseph’s Prep and then at Georgetown Prep. For six years he served as the Maryland Province Assistant for Secondary Education. In 2000 he went to Gdynia, Poland, where he taught English and worked in teacher formation at the Jesuit high school. In 2001 the Superior General of the Jesuits appointed Father Roach Secretary of Education. Father Roach served in that position and lived in Rome until 2009, when he became the Rector of the Scranton Jesuit Community. He came to Loyola in the fall of 2015. Father Roach is at home with languages, other cultures, and working with young people.
